Alla la Daaro, which in
the local Mandinka language means ‘God’s creation, nature’, is a sizeable walled
tropical nature garden/farm which has situated within its grounds a unique guest
house (see Wooden Deck House).
Beautifully situated in the bush village of Bakary Sambouya, just south of
Brikama, Alla la Daaro is a nature lover’s paradise with its wide variety of
flora, fauna, indigenous and fruiting trees and teeming wildlife which includes
many species of birds and a number of housed colonies of local bees which
produce litres of pure honey each year.
